Hey guys,
So, a while back wet n wild launched in India which I think is exclusive to nykaa(please don’t quote me on that, as I might be totally wrong) and everybody went crazy. Since the day it launched I have collected and tried out a bunch of their products and so far I haven’t been disappointed to be honest. Anyways, today I decided to talk about all the highlighters I own from this brand and share with you guys about what I like/dislike about them, and all that good stuff.
Before this blog gets a million years long, let’s just get started.
- MEGAGLO HIGHLIGHTING POWDER (BLOSSOM GLOW)
I have seen and heard so many people talk about this specific product in this specific shade so many times, that when they launched I had to pick it up. And I loooooveee this highlight. Based on the picture you can probably tell how much I have used it. It is so metallic and the swatch that I have shown you is just one little swipe, I mean this stuff is intense and it’s sooo cheap. I love the packaging, it’s so sleek and it travels really well. I don’t like glittery highlights, and this one is not glittery at all, it just gives gives my face a very nice sheen. It’s a pearly highlight with a strong pink undertone and it looks amazing and beaming when it hits the light. Most of the times I’ll put on a very natural looking highlight and then dust this on the very top of my cheek bones and it just brings the whole look together. I like this shade the most as it’s best suited for my skin tone and it just melts in the skin. BTW don’t be scared if you don’t like a very strong and metallic highlight, if you apply it with a very light hand it can look really natural. I can’t get enough of this highlight I LOVE IT.
Sidenote: It looks really golden in the pic but in reality the product has a pinky pearl shift in the pan as well. The lighting was just not in my favor today guys 🙁
- MEGAGLO HIGHLIGHTING POWDER (PRECIOUS PETALS)
I picked up the shade precious petals along with blossom glow and I don’t love it as much as the former one still I get a lot of use out of it, as you can see. I decided to pick up this shade to use it when I am more tan but I find that if I use a light hand with it, then it will work just as good for me. Infact, I use it as an eyeshadow all the time. If you have a medium to deep skin tone pick it up, you won’t regret it.
- COLORICON BRONZER (RESERVE YOUR CABANA)
I have to say, this purchase was completely inspired my Kathleenlights (like most them are) and I remember her video where she talks about her favorite natural highlighters and she mentioned this product. So when I saw that this was available I had pick it up. This is clearly not a bronzer, but it’s the most natural freaking highlight ever. I have to say that this highlight does not swatch as pretty as it looks on the face. This is my everyday highlight, I put this on my cheekbones, my entire face and it just never disappoints, plus you get so much of product. This does have a lot of kick up when you put your brush in it and it feels really soft as well so I don’t travel with this product. Nevertheless, this highlight does not emphasize any on my pores and it just looks one with the skin and on my skin atleast I see it even at the end of the day. For fair skin tones this highlight is IT!!
- MEGAGLO HELLO HALO LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER (HALO, GOODBYE)
I picked up this shade as I wanted something with a champagne undertone and that’s how it looked on my nykaa app but when it came and I swatched I was a little bit disappointed with the color. And when I tried it on my face I fell in love with it. It’s a very pinky pearly highlight, reminds me a lot of blossom glow powder highlight, the one I have already talked about. First of all, the packaging is on point. For the price I didn’t expect a glass packaging, plus it comes with a chubby doe foot applicator which makes it really easy to apply on the face. I have used it in every single way possible. I have used it as a primer, mixed in with my primer or moisturizer underneath the foundation and of course as a highlight. Personally, I would suggest to apply this product with your fingers if you are gonna use it as a highlight and do it before you go in with your powder to set the face otherwise it sort of lifts the foundation underneath at least for me it does. But if you put it directly on the foundation and then set your face with powder and then go over with a setting spray it just looks one of the most beautiful highlights ever. You can make it look any way you want, you can put down 50 layers of this and it will not look patchy or emphasize your pores. A really awesome product as well.
My verdict?
I am love with this brand. I have tried so many things from this brand and so far nothing has disappointed me. You get a good bang for your buck, if no one would have told me I would have totally guessed that these were high-end highlights. Go for them and trust me you won’t be disappointed!
P.S. : All these pics were taken under natural lighting and sun was just not in favor so the color in the image might be a bit off!!
Thank you so much for reading guys!!!
